Greek Dual Citizenship

In order to acquire Greek Citizenship, we must prove that you have at least one ancestor who was born in Greece and therefore was Greek by birth. The ancestor must be registered at the Records of the Municipality (city hall) of a town or village in Greece and it may be necessary to determine if the ancestor received permission from the Ministry of the Interior to renounce Greek citizenship upon acquiring another citizenship.
